A research paper that examines the controversial poems of Sharon Olds using four critical factors. This paper was part of the final project in my Advanced Poetry Workshop, a graduate-level course required of MFA Creative Writing students. I was given a perfect score by the professor, who was also the director of the program.<\/p>\n

A short book review that looks at how and why Leadbelly<\/em> works. Written for my Poetry Workshop, a graduate-level class. I examined the ways that Jess incorporates music into his verse, so that the poems become literal reflections of Leadbelly’s life.<\/p>\n

An annotated bibliography developed in response to an assignment to document 10 writing influences. This assignment was for my Fiction Workshop, a graduate-level class.
