As part of a graduate-level course in technical editing, the final project required a complete revision of an existing manual for Sanx’s MUD Client. I received a perfect score on this manual and the accompanying documentation (cover letter, editorial analysis, and style sheet).

This document demonstrates my ability to thoroughly analyze existing documentation and make recommendations for revisions, taking into account all aspects of document design and preparation.
This style sheet accompanied the revised Sanx’s MUD Client User Manual, part of my final project in a graduate-level technical editing course. This style sheet was used in conjunction with the Microsoft Manual of Style, 4th edition.
A complete user manual for the freeware flashcard program Cabra. The manual was written for a graduate-level technical writing course and received a perfect score. This document demonstrates a solid grasp of technical writing, document design, and advanced Microsoft Word techniques.
Why Sharon Olds Deserves Her Popularity
A research paper that examines the controversial poems of Sharon Olds using four critical factors. This paper was part of the final project in my Advanced Poetry Workshop, a graduate-level course required of MFA Creative Writing students. I was given a perfect score by the professor, who was also the director of the program.
This chapbook was part of the final project in my Advanced Poetry Workshop. I wrote most of the poems during the semester; others were written at various points throughout my life and edited during this class based on techniques I learned.
Review of Tyehimba Jess’ Leadbelly
A short book review that looks at how and why Leadbelly works. Written for my Poetry Workshop, a graduate-level class. I examined the ways that Jess incorporates music into his verse, so that the poems become literal reflections of Leadbelly’s life.
Fiction Workshop Annotated Bibliography
An annotated bibliography developed in response to an assignment to document 10 writing influences. This assignment was for my Fiction Workshop, a graduate-level class. We were expected to choose a wide range of resources, both contemporary and classical. This document includes a short essay explaining my choices, followed by the annotated bibliography.
